De Hofleveranciers has been working for many years on Boerke — the comic strip that has been around for 20 years and is published in Knack Focus, Eppo, and more. The highlight so far has been the production of two animated series. Thanks to support from VAF, these series were entirely produced in Flanders – an impressive achievement in the (young) adult animation world.

In 2021, the first Boerke animated series was aired on Canvas, marking a groundbreaking moment for (young) adult animation on a public network.

After the success of the first season, a second series followed in 2023, bringing the total to 104 episodes, each 2 minutes long.

De Hofleveranciers succeeded in realizing the entire production in Flanders, with the support of VAF and VRT.

As the global agent for Pieter De Poortere, we have been closely involved in all his projects and spin-offs for nearly 20 years. Boerke remains his most renowned work, and from the very beginning, we saw its great potential.
